When you've selected the home you would like to lease, please submit one application for each adult that will occupy the home. When you submit the application, please also attach a copy of your two most recent pay stubs and a copy of your driver's license. Please call us if you are self-employed or for other special situations where pay stubs are not available. If you are including pets on the applications, please also send a photo of each pet. Please make arrangements to meet with our agent if you are not able to send these documents. We recommend that you review our Renter Qualifications before you submit your application and pay the non-refundable fee.

You can submit the application(s) three ways:
1. Click HERE to enter the information and pay the fee ON-LINE. When the new window is displayed, click on the home you would like to lease then click the Apply Online link. After you submit the online application, please send a copy or your driver's license and pay stubs to apps@rentalhomekc.com or fax to 913-273-1717 or make arrangements with our agent to pick them up.
2. Download the Rental Application, print, fill in the blanks, and FAX the completed form and a copy of your driver's license and pay stubs to 913-273-1717. Then pay the fee on line using the Pay Now button to the right.
3. Bring the application to our office where you can pay the application fee by personal check or cash.

Tip:
If you don't have an electronic copy of your license or pay stubs, you can photograph them with your smart phone and email to us.
Once we receive your applications, will do a preliminary check for income, occupants, pets, etc. You do not have to pay the applicaiton fees at that point. If everything meets qualifications, we will let you know you are pre-qualifed, which allows us to do showings at occupied properties.
Once you sign the application and pay the applicaton fees and have toured the home (iin person on remote, you applicaiton is considered Sumbitted. When there is more than one application for the same property, the Submitted date is used to determine which application is processed first. Then we run the income, credit, background and rental history verifications. We will let you know right away if the owner of the property accepts your application. We usually have an answer within two business days after all information and documentation is received..
One application is required for each adult, age 18 or older, that will occupy the home. There is a $40 non-refundable fee for each adult (over age 17) on thee application. Please understand that this fee covers our cost to do the credit and background checks so it is not refundable, even if the property owner does not accept your application. We'll be happy to discuss your specific situation to avoid spending money on the application unless you're sure it's the right home and your application is likely to be accepted.
